I have recently introduced "Blind Date with a Book" into the shop and I'm quite excited with the response so far. I've always loved a lucky dip myself and this goes way back to when I was a kid and certain shops would have a boys and a girls lucky dip and there would invariably be some sort of toy inside the wrapping. A book is better though. Way better. Especially when it comes wrapped with a few delicious clues to entice the reader. It's a fun way to choose your next read, to be "set up" with a book in your genre of choice, or maybe you're looking to take a step outside of the genre you're usually drawn to and dive into something a little different.
With these preloved books currently chosen for blind dates, I've covered a few different fiction genres and will be adding more and more to the shop over time. And if not for yourself, maybe you'd like to purchase one of these mystery books for a friend or loved one who you know would love a lucky dip.
